Organizations primarily engage in change efforts because conditions demand that they continuously improve business practices, processes, customer satisfaction, or employee morale.  Too many businesses rely on outside consulting firms to perform functions that should be their core competencies. These basic business skills should not be outsourced. These functions should be performed well in every organization. At Success Profiles, we do not want companies to rely on us for these business functions.  We engage companies in the organizational change process and help them develop these functions as core competencies.

In order for organizations to have a successful improvement initiative, Success Profiles follows John Kotter's guidelines for large scale change:

  • Establish a sense of urgency
  • Form a powerful guiding coalition
  • Create a vision
  • Communicate the vision
  • Engage others to act on the vision
  • Plan for and create short-term vision wins
  • Compress improvements and accelerate change
  • Institutionalize new approaches
