Thom Handley,
Senior Executive

Thom brings more than 25 years as a senior executive and consultant, in which he has achieved international recognition in strategic organization change efforts. The activities have incorporated extensive use of measurement based diagnostics which have enabled him to provide his clients with actionable knowledge about both the people and processes inside the client organization as well as actionable knowledge from the customer and supplier perspective. The common theme for all his work is the development of loyal customers, employees and suppliers.

Thom has also worked widely in the area of management development and team building, having done pioneer work in the development and use of 360 degree assessments. His work takes him to North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. The organizations with whom Thom has consulted include Hitachi, Saudi Aramco, Taylor Made Golf, Citibank, Shell Brasil, Shell International, and Amoco.

With his combined background of business executive and applied behavioral scientist, Thom has also led reviews of strategic and organizational effectiveness and assisted in the development and implementation of action plans arising from these reviews.

He has served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for The Rouse Company, the leading Real Estate developer in the USA. He was also Senior Vice President, Human Resources for the Bank of Montreal, a 30,000 person international bank, where he designed and implemented state of the art human resource planning and career development programs and was a member of the Senior Management Committee.

He has taught at the School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and was on the faculty of The University of Western Ontario Business School. Thom has also served on the Board of Directors of four North American companies, three in the field of high technology and the other in training products.

Thom has an MBA, is a qualified chartered accountant and has completed doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior.
